Liquid Orchard Co-Founder Rui Hai Liu to Receive IFT Lifetime Achievement Award

Liquid Orchard is proud to congratulate our co-founder, Professor Rui Hai Liu, on being selected to receive the 2026 IFT Lifetime Achievement Award in Honor of Nicolas Appert.

Presented by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), this prestigious award recognizes individuals whose lifelong contributions have had a lasting impact on the science of food.

Professor Liu is an internationally recognized food scientist and Professor in the Department of Food Science at Cornell University. His research has advanced our understanding of the relationship between diet, bioactive food compounds, and chronic disease prevention. Over his career, he has authored more than 269 peer-reviewed publications, has been recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher for 11 consecutive years, and is a Fellow of multiple leading scientific organizations, including IFT, AAAS, ACS, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the International Academy of Food Science and Technology (IAFoST).

As a co-founder of Liquid Orchard, Professor Liu has helped shape the company's scientific vision of developing innovative technologies that transform whole fruits and vegetables into nutritious, convenient foods and beverages. Through our consumer brand, Liquid Nature, we are bringing these innovations to consumers.
